Sales Intern

POSITION OVERVIEW: 

Be a part of a fast paced, energetic, start-up environment. This intern reports directly to the Director of Business Development to assist with daily outreach and sales projects, which include but are not limited to prospecting leads, entering in sales data, community outreach and executing special events. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO EVERY DAY:

  • Entering data into Gather (event sales system)
  • Reaching out to prospective leads/clients
  • Research and gathering data 
  • Assisting with Catering, Private & Marketing Events
  • Administrative tasks such as printing menus & collateral, creating buffet labels, arranging decor, etc. 

WHAT YOUR BACKGROUND LOOKS LIKE:

  • At least 1-2 years of hospitality or guest service experience
  • Ability and willing to travel locally - car owner preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft - Excel, Word, Gmail and Google Docs.
  • Able to multi-task and keep organized
  • Work independently
  • Outgoing
  • Has a passion for the restaurant & service industry
